Whether you follow Jesus Christ or not, you are somebody’s fool. To the unregenerate person, the preaching of the cross is foolishness. To this same person, the things relative to the Spirit of God are foolishness. So, to the unsaved person, the Spirit-filled Christian is nothing more than a fool. The root of this kind of thinking is unbelief in the living God. However, what these people do not realize is that they too are somebody’s fool, namely, the devil. Consequently, they promote shame, and bring grief to their mothers. They are mischievous, self deceived, proud, about to fall.

So whose fool are you? Are you a fool for Christ or a fool for the world? Both are compensated for their ‘foolishness’ One fool gets paid death, another fool receives the gift of eternal life. One receives corruption, the other reaps everlasting life.

Fellow Christian, whenever Satan serves you ‘the platter of temptation’, his objective is to make Christ look like a fool through your yielding to the flesh. That is why it is so important to understand Satan’s objective whenever he appeals to our fleshly nature.

How do you respond to God’s Word?  To every person that rejects Christ’s atoning sacrifice the Lord has only two words to say, ‘You fool!’

So, the question you need to ask yourself is this, ‘Whose fool am I?’ Your final answer will determine the destiny of your eternal soul.
