“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10

I find it so significant that at the conclusion of the letter of Peter to persecuted and suffering saints, he makes mention of “the God of all grace”. When Paul was struggling with that thorn in his flesh, God chose not to remove it, but He granted him something far more powerful than healing. He showered Paul with grace.

What is the one thing that you and I need more than everything else? The grace of God. We need to be strong in the grace of God. Our hearts need to be established in the grace of God. To grow in our knowledge of the Lord Jesus will result in growth in grace as well.

Grace eliminates any possibility of human boasting of accomplishments whatsoever, for we are what we are by the grace of God. We are gifted according to the grace of God. We are saved by the grace of God.

May we bow our hearts in worship to the God of all grace, Jesus Christ.
