Esther and Mordecai were secure in the king’s court, but Haman’s irrevocable decree was still a threat to the rest of the Jews. Wealth and personal security could never satisfy Esther so long as her people were still in danger. To her, the most important thing in life was not her comfort, but her people’s deliverance. She would not rest until the matter was settled. Christians should have that attitude toward the lost and passionately spread the Gospel. Please open your Bible to Esther chapter eight, verse four, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola continues his study of this chapter.
