Of the churches mentioned in Revelation, Jesus gave the Laodicean church the most mind-boggling evaluation. People in this materially prosperous church seemed satisfied with their comfortable lives. Though there was no mention of gross immorality, Jesus did not commend them, because He was on the outside looking in!
