If the Father has no pleasure in the sacrifices of the Old Covenant, why did He establish them? He did it to give us a type of the Lamb of God. The Law was not an image of heavenly things. It was only a shadow of things to come. If the Law could have made people perfect, then they would not have needed to keep offering sacrifices.
