After Haman’s promotion, everyone in town bowed to him when he passed, except Mordecai. When Haman discovered that Mordecai’s refusal to bow was because he was a devout Jew, he was furious. Haman’s vengeance would not be satisfied with the destruction of Mordecai alone; he sought to destroy the entire Jewish nation. Satan inspired Haman’s irrational hatred, and such hatred of the Jews can be found even today. Please open your Bible to Esther chapter three, verse six, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola continues his discussion of this chapter.
