Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Dear reader, God declares that you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. Because of the weakness of our flesh, we rarely feel like we are His workmanship. But let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4). The word here for workmanship is poiema. You are a beautiful poem, written by the very finger of God. You are fearfully created and recreated. You are divinely endowed with gifts and the power of God. Your worth and value is found in who you are in Christ.

If you are poor financially, you are still His workmanship in Christ Jesus. If your health is failing, you are still His workmanship in Christ Jesus. Because you are His workmanship, nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). Because you are His workmanship, God is working in you right now both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

God has declared that He will not forsake the work of His hands (1 Samuel 12:22; Psalm 138:8; Hebrews 13:5). That means you, beloved! Precious child of God, may you live today with the realization that God has created you in Christ Jesus to be fruitful for His glory and honor. Amen.
