The fall of mankind began when Adam and Eve believed the lie of the serpent instead of the truth of The Living God (Genesis 3). Ever since then, mankind has continued to fall for the devil’s lies about God. The most modern lie about God is found in the theory of evolution, which denies the Biblical account of creation, as found in Genesis 1 and 2. Call it what they may, it is in reality fallen man’s attempt to “scientifically” explain away the reality of our Creator God (Isaiah 40:28) and His creation (Psalm 8; Psalm 19:1-6).
Young people are told to remember their Creator in the days of their youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1), but the vast majority of educational institutions, from preschool through grad school, are doing their level best to destroy that truth about God with the lie of evolution.
As we see the downward spiral of depraved living, which stems from rejecting the revelation of God and our accountability to Him, it is not hard to see the ungodly fruit of that lie of the serpent in our very own nation.
May we hold fast to the doctrine of creation, and in doing so, raise our children and grandchildren to walk in the ways of the Lord Jesus (3 John 3, 4), by Whom each and every one of them have been fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:1-16). We have been created for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11), but whenever we turn the truth of God into a lie, we will begin to live on an animal, instead of divine, plane (Romans 1:18-25).
