The Holy Spirit brings that which is dead to life. He brings order out of chaos. Since He is God, like Jesus the Holy Spirit is the same “yesterday, today, and forever.”

When we are born again, we are not instant, mature Christians. There is a race that is before us, a course for each and every one of us to follow. Thank God that we are not left alone to accomplish the task!

This process of birth and development of spiritual maturity is called sanctification, but this endeavor called sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit, not us.

The purpose of the Spirit is to conform us into the image of Jesus. Therefore, let us not strive with our Maker in this process, even though this walk of faith is at times ‘unreasonable’ to us.

However, the end result is nothing short of spectacular!
