The incarnation, or human birth of Jesus Christ, was not His beginning. Jesus Christ is Emmanuel, God with us. He is the Uncreated Word Who was in the beginning with God, and was God Himself! This is what Scripture declares to be the blessed mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh.
Our Christmas series this year is going to focus on the first Promise of the Incarnation from Genesis 3:15, The Prophecy of the Incarnation from Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6, The Mystery of the Incarnation from 1 Timothy 3:16, and The Proclamation of the Incarnation from Luke 1 and 2.
I trust that God will hear our cry to have our hearts and eyes open to an ever increasing knowledge of the splendor and majesty that is in The Name of Jesus. Please join me in praying that Jesus Christ, The Lord of glory, would be magnified, and that many would be brought by His grace to know Him as Savior and Lord.
