John the Baptizer declared to the multitudes, “Prepare the way of the Lord, and make His paths straight,” because the long-awaited Messiah was about to be revealed. As Christians, our message should be much like John’s: Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, because Jesus is returning soon.
