Scripture often exhorts us to maintain a steady walk with the Lord. The word disciple shares a common root with the word discipline. It takes discipline to follow Jesus, because without it, we risk being pulled away from Him by the constant rip tide of worldly ways. Though we cannot lose our salvation, the enemy can render us ineffective if we are not diligent. Please open your Bible to Hebrews chapter two, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola continues his discussion of verses one through four.
