Today’s passage concerns the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The word Gospel literally means good news. The good news is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was not created or adopted like we are. He is God’s only begotten Son, and He is fully God and fully man. This makes Him uniquely eligible to save us all from our sins. Therefore, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is The Gospel.
