Psalm 77:11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

Our Lord is The God Who performs works and wonders in the lives of each and every one of His children. Scripture declares that salvation is a wonder. Ponder the wonder and work of God in your life this morning, beloved. Reflect on how God drew you to His Son by His love and grace. Consider the ways and times He has provided for you, guided you, protected you, or intervened in some situation on your behalf. Count the many blessings that God has poured out upon your life. Remembering the works and wonders of God is so important, especially when our lives are clouded with doubt and discouragement.

Twice in our devotional verse this morning the Psalmist declares, “I will remember”. Some of you this morning are dealing with discouragement and doubt. Your circumstances and emotions are telling you that all hope is gone. Your thoughts are gripped by fear and despair. One thing the devil does not want you to do is remember all the works and wonders in your life. There is a real strength when we choose to remember the works and wonders of God. May the perfect love of God cast out those fears this morning. Jesus gave the disciples in the upper room the simple command to remember Him. Emmanuel is with you and for you; remember that.
