True generosity is not the same thing as merely giving. For Christians, true generosity emanates from the example of Jesus Christ, who, for our sakes, made Himself poor so that we could become rich in Him. As beneficiaries of His grace and mercy that He has freely bestowed on us, we should freely give that He might be glorified.
