When the Bible talks about righteousness, one must recognize that there is positional righteousness in Jesus Christ, and then there is practical righteousness that developes as we walk in obedience to what God says in His word. It is the latter type of righteousness to which Scripture refers when it exorts us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Please open your Bible to Hebrews chapter five, verse eleven, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola continues his discussion of verses eleven through fourteen.
