The world system tries to conform us to its ever-changing fashions and whims. It also tries to make people self-focused. However, Christ wants us to be conformed to His image. If we think like Jesus, then we will deny ourselves and meet the needs of others, all for the glory of God. This requires us to be transformed on the inside by God’s word and the power of His Holy Spirit.
