Today’s passage contrasts wisdom and folly. Wisdom invites the simple to come and eat of her bread and drink of her wine, promising life to whomever listens. In contrast, folly is like a loud and seductive woman who calls to passersby, inviting them to eat stolen bread and drink stolen water. She promises pleasure, but her way to leads to death. Please open your Bible to Proverbs nine, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of this chapter.
