When the apostle Paul was in Athens, his spirit was grieved because he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. As he looked at the various temples and shrines, he came across an altar inscribed with the phrase: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Paul used this as a starting point in proclaiming to the people of Athens the one true God and how they could be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. Please open your Bible to Acts chapter seventeen, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his study of verses sixteen through thirty-four.
