Today, as we continue our study of the Beatitudes, we will learn what it means to be a peacemaker. Contrary to popular notions, a peacemaker is not a person that avoids confrontation or conflict. Making peace often involves dragging unwilling combatants to the negotiating table and giving them a reason to lay down their arms.
