Today, as we continue our study of the Beatitudes, we will learn what it means to be a peacemaker. Contrary to popular notions, a peacemaker is not a person that avoids confrontation or conflict. Making peace often involves dragging unwilling combatants to the negotiating table and giving them a reason to lay down their arms. Please listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of the seventh Beatitude found in Matthew chapter five, verse nine: Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.
