Before he left, Paul warned the Church leaders at Ephesus of false teachers that would cause people to speak evil of the Gospel. They preach a doctrine of covetousness and merchandise that totally misrepresents the name of Jesus. They preach with the spirit of antichrist, which is the father of the many heresies that the Church is facing today.
