In the book of Acts, it is easy to focus on what Paul and the other apostles did. However, we should not miss the radical devotion to Jesus exhibited by the “laypeople” within the local churches. Whatever opposition the leaders faced, these saints had to face it long after the apostles and others had left. The sacrificial support of these saints enabled the apostles to spread the Gospel and edify their brothers and sisters in other areas. Please listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his message on verses one through sixteen of Acts chapter twenty.
