When Paul went to Corinth, he met a married couple named Aquila and Priscilla. They had received Christ in Rome, and came to Corinth because Claudius had deported all Jews from Rome. Like Paul, they were tent makers, and they took Paul into their home. This hard-working, hospitable couple was sold out for Jesus, and they helped Paul tremendously in the ministry of the Gospel.
