Memories of former victories can make the pain of defeat even more bitter. Yet, when our fellowship with other saints is hindered and God is seemingly hiding His face from us, we begin to value our fellowship with each other and God even more. Oppression creates a craving for God’s Light and Truth that is personified by His Son, Jesus Christ and that is revealed by His Holy Spirit. Be of good courage, God is always with us.
