David was a man after God’s own heart. One evidence of this was that, when he was in the midst of a trial, his primary focus was on God, and not on his enemies. This enabled him to wholeheartedly praise the Lord, despite his circumstances, both in public and in private. Please open your Bible to Psalm one hundred eight, verse two, and listen as we join Pastor Ray Viola’s discussion of this Psalm of David.
