New wine must be put into new wineskins, because old wineskins can become rigid and inflexible. However, if you take an old wineskin and repeatedly soak it in water, it can regain its elasticity. If Christian’s are not being continually soaked in God’s Word, they will become old, rigid, grumbling wineskins that will resist new works of God’s Holy Spirit. Therefore, be sure to soak in God’s word daily to remain sufficiently flexible to be used by the Lord! Please open your Bible to Ezra chapter three, verse five, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola concludes his study of this chapter.
