The opening verses of today’s passage lists the names of people that returned to Jerusalem with Ezra. This list reveals that God specifically notes those who journey by faith. These people left the comforts of Babylon and took a long and dangerous journey to start a new life that was going to be more challenging. They left something that they could see to take hold of something they had never seen. Does this sound familiar? Please open your Bible to Ezra chapter eight, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of this chapter.
