The first six chapters of Ezra concern captives that returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel. Events in chapter seven concern a second group that returned with Ezra almost sixty years later. Ezra redeemed the time during his days of captivity so that when God placed a call on his life, he was ready. If you feel boxed in, don’t pout. Redeem the time. Your steps are ordered by the Lord. Prepare for whatever He may have in store for you in the future. Please open your Bible to Ezra chapter seven, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his study of this chapter.
