When Ezra read God’s word to the people of Jerusalem, the response was moving. In signs of reverence for God and His word, people lifted their hands or bowed their faces to the ground. Sometimes shouts of praise interrupted the reading. Do you still find the reading of God’s word moving? If not, what changed? God certainly has not changed.
