Today’s passage emphasizes the value of godly wisdom, understanding, and righteousness over material wealth and worldly power. Solomon encouraged his children to have integrity, to work hard, and to act justly. Ultimately, God is the final judge that rewards everyone according to their deeds. However, salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, not by works.
