Acts 2.23,24 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

The resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ is the peg upon which our faith rests. This morning, let us read and mediate upon some passages that speak of His glorious resurrection.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Through faith in the risen Lord Jesus, we are made whole.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. Through faith in the risen, exalted Jesus we are given he gifts of repentance and remission of sins.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. It is through faith in the risen Lord Jesus that we are brought unto God The Father.

Beloved, draw near to God this morning with confidence and faith in The Risen, Exalted Lord Jesus. Because Jesus lives, we too have life.
