Psalms 143:8 “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.”

May this verse be a part of your morning prayers, beloved. Lord, cause me to hear your Lovingkindness, because I trust in you. Cause me to know how to live and where to go today; for I lift up my soul to you. Pray that now. Mean it with all your heart. Abba is listening.

We note how many times there are references to morning times in the Scripture. Psalms 42:8 [Yet] the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime. That word yet indicates that in spite of the events of the previous day, God commands His Lovingkindness towards you beloved. That Hebrew word for Lovingkindness is most often translated mercy. It is also translated goodness. The everlasting Father has commanded His Lovingkindness, mercy and goodness to you beloved.

Another precious morning promise from God is found in Psalms 30:5 For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning. You may have cried yourself to sleep last night beloved. But God He is the source of your joy this morning. Note that I said He is the source of your joy. The joy of The Lord is your strength. Allow those precious truths to both fill your heart and govern your thoughts this morning. No matter what others say or how you feel. No matter what your circumstances tell you to the contrary. When God commands something, nothing can stop it. Isaiah 43:13 Yea, before the day [was] I [am] he; and [there is] none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Nothing can stop or prevent God’s Word from coming to pass. Nothing except our own unbelief.

So once again. Read that passage from Psalm 143.8. What is my response to be to these precious promises from God?  Psalms 59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. We all know that life at times can be messy. Things happen. Circumstances can change at the proverbial drop of the hat. But one thing never changes, and that is our god and His promises. Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth.

Christ will go before you today, and His refreshing and comforting Lovingkindness, goodness and joy will be upon you like the rain from heaven. Blessings.
