Signs and wonders do not save people. Despite miracles, many rejected the Gospel and persecuted those who preached it. The same is true today. Like Paul and Barnabas declared, we are people of like passions. Imperfect people like us are called upon to be witnesses of the Gospel, and like the apostles, relatively few people will repent from your testimony, yet God calls us to be faithful witnesses that speak the truth in love.
