Though the wicked may prosper for a season, Scripture makes it clear that their end is not something that anybody would want. One day, the Lord will break the strength of the wicked, but He will uphold the arms of the upright. Jesus wants us to pray for our attackers and abusers, because if they do not repent, their eternity will be endless misery. Be compassionate toward those that are lost.
