When Haggai wrote of the desire of all nations, he was prophesying about Jesus Christ. Whether people realize it or not, He is the ultimate desire of every human being. Sadly, Jesus is not the desire of this fallen world system or of those whom it has deceived, which includes a consumer-friendly, lukewarm Church. This is why Jesus commissioned His true Church to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every nation, so that His spiritual Temple will be finished.
