In today’s passage, the apostle Paul listed his credentials for being a genuine follower of Jesus. Among them was a time that friends let him down the side of a city wall in a basket to save his life. From beginning to end, Paul faced afflictions and opposition as he preached the Gospel and made disciples. We may not be called by God to face the same obstacles as Paul, but Jesus calls all of us to deny ourselves daily, pick up our crosses, and follow Him. Please open your Bible to Second Corinthians chapter eleven, verse sixteen, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his study.
