Scripture makes it clear that our assurance of salvation does not lie in any work that we do. Salvation comes only by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus. We can only draw near to God because of Who Jesus is and what He did for us. However, it is equally clear that when we trust in Him, we should see the evidence of God’s Spirit bearing fruit in our lives. Please open your Bible to Second Corinthians chapter thirteen, verse two, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his study of verses one through six.
