Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Christ has paid the full price for our sin. He has risen and is seated at the right hand of The Father. His call to sinners is a singular one, Come and drink of the water of life freely. This is the grace of God calling out to you and me this morning. I need this fountain of life from Jesus as much, if not more, than when I first believed. Is not such your case this morning, beloved? Are we not constantly being pulled away from this fountain of life by worldly attractions and distractions? Do we not find ourselves following the path of Israel, when The Lord said to them, “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, [and] hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” (Jeremiah 2:13)

May the words of the Psalmist be our declaration this morning. “For with thee [is] the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” (Psalm 36:9) With Thee is the fountain of life. Abiding in Thee. Communing with Thee. “The fear of the LORD [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.” (Proverbs 14:27) “The law of the wise [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.” (Proverbs 13:14) The fallen world system is strewn with pleasures and promises that glitter like gold, but are in reality, the very snares of death. Drink deep from the fountain of Jesus this morning, beloved. Soak in His all-satisfying love and grace. Trust Him in all things that are set before you today. Jesus IS The Fount of every blessing, for only in Him is life.
