In today’s passage, we find the Apostle Paul defending himself before a council of Roman and Jewish leaders. This time Paul turned their attention away from the philosophical debate around the feasibility of the resurrection and towards the person of Jesus. It didn’t matter where the Jews landed in the debate around the resurrection of the dead. What mattered was how they reckoned with the person of Christ.
