Scripture portrays Ruth and Boaz as paragons of virtue. Rather than pursue relationships with young men, Ruth, out of respect for Naomi and her deceased husband, offered herself to a much older relative. Boaz, though entitled by law, did not force himself upon Ruth, but waited for her consent. Both esteemed others more highly than themselves, and God blessed them for trusting in Him to bring their desires to fruition. Please open your Bible to Ruth three, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his study of this chapter.
