In the first five chapters of Romans, the Apostle Paul described in great detail what God has accomplished for us through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, namely justification. Paul then proceeds to describe what God can accomplish in us through the Gospel, if we yield ourselves to His Holy Spirit, namely sanctification.
