An ambassador is an individual who represents the policies and purposes of their homeland in a foreign country. As followers of Jesus Christ, you and I bear that honor of representing Jesus and His Kingdom in a world that is spiritually dark and alienated from Him.
Each and every day, we are representatives of Jesus. We are to display Kingdom work ethics. It is so easy to forget our assignment as an ambassador of Christ because of the routine of day-to-day life. When we forget Whom we are called to imitate, we inevitably sink to the standards of the fallen world system, and in doing so, we misrepresent our Lord and His Kingdom.
As ambassadors for Christ we must be moved with compassion, driven by His love, and upheld by His power.
May we be faithful and fruitful for Jesus this week that others would glorify His name.
