Isaiah 40.25,26 “To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.”

I am sitting on my plane in Frankfurt, waiting to take off for India. The logistics of air travel are staggering. From air controllers who schedule thousands of flights every hour, to ground travel and baggage services. Although there are occasional problems, it is simply amazing to behold how it all comes together. Now because we are talking about human efforts here, there are bound to be flaws and failures. But would anybody really think that those planes just happen to take off whenever they want? Would anybody think that people just put baggage on some aircraft and then presto, they arrive at your destination. Of course not. There is an intelligent design behind the entire air travel system. There is nothing random or accidental.

How much more Genius does it take to run this universe and keep it running? It is absurd to think that secondary causes like “Mother Nature” or “coincidental laws of science” are running this universe. Such a thought is downright scary to me. Scripture and even creation itself speaks of an Almighty Creator Who sustaints every single atom within His universe. Indeed, as God Himself asks, “to Whom will you liken Me, or shall I be equal?”. The answer? Nobody! The Genius of The Almighty has created and is sustaining every part of His universe, from the largest Galaxy, to the atom, to the tiniest creature on earth. God, and God alone is The Supreme a Genius of everything.

For those of you that are in Christ Jesus, it is that same mighty power that has saved you, is saving you, and will ultimately save you from sins’ debt, sins’ power and sins’ presence. Because He is strong in power, you will not fail, beloved. The redemptive genius of God is His love for us, manifested through His Son, Jesus Christ. Our destination is to live with Him forever in glory. Our departure times may vary, but our arrival is assured.  I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
