2 Chronicles 20.12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
In this passage, the people of God were in a dire situation. They were outnumbered with no idea what to do. Thus, we find them doing the wisest thing that anyone can when they are overwhelmed and at a loss of what to do. They put their eyes upon The Lord.
Such a simple but profound principle of walking with The Lord in these last days. Set your eyes upon The Lord. The Lord keeps those in perfect peace, when our eyes are fixed on Him. But it is because we neglect this vertical mindset that we often find ourselves faltering. The enemy of our souls is relentless in his assault of our hearts and minds with the things and cares of this world.
Thus, we need to constantly fight this fight of faith by keeping our eyes on The Lord Jesus, for apart from Him we can do nothing. But when we look to Him in faith, we are given the strength and wisdom that we need to fight the good fight of faith.
Dear ones, are you in a tight spot, and at a loss of what to say or do? Get alone with your God and set your eyes upon Him. Listen for that still small voice. Do not look at the impossibility of the situation, look at the greatness and power of your God. It is not by human might, or human power, but by My Spirit saith The Lord.
