Shortly before Jesus died on the cross, he was having a meal at the house of Simon the leper. During the meal, a woman poured an expensive ointment on Jesus’ head. Some were indignant, calling the costly act wasteful. However, Jesus heralded it as an act of worshipful devotion that should be declared wherever the Gospel is preached. True acts of worshiping God are never a waste. Please open your Bible to Mark chapter fourteen, and join Pastor Ray Viola as he begins his study of verses one through eleven.
