The Church began in a prayer meeting, and it is by the prayers of the saints that the Church continues, because we need continually need the Lord’s help. Scripture also teaches us to persist in prayer, even when the answer is long in coming. These delays exercise our faith as we trust that the Lord will answer in His appointed time.
