The word sober means, “A life that is free from intoxicants or artificial stimulation. A life that is marked by thoughtful character and self control.” If we are to keep our wedding garments pure and white as the Bride of Christ, we must be Spirit filled, sober minded, and prayerful as we anticipate the glorious appearing of Jesus. Please open your Bible to First Peter chapter four, verse seven, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola prepares his congregation to take a spiritual sobriety test before they observe the Lord’s Supper.
