Because God is holy, He could not accept sinful man by simply disregarding or ignoring his sins. To satisfy God’s justice, those sins had to be dealt with. When Jesus shed His blood on the cross, He accepted the punishment for our sins, thereby satisfying God’s justice. One only needs to accept this gift of atonement to be saved from God’s wrath. Please open your Bible to Romans chapter five, verse four, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola finishes his discussion of this chapter.
