Sin separates people from God; however, after we are born again, our standing before God changes. Through Jesus Christ, God imputes righteousness to us, and we become justified by God’s grace. To be born again, a person must repent of their sin, trust that Jesus has remitted their sin, and they must confess that Jesus is Lord before others. Please open your Bible to Romans chapter five, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola begins his discussion of this chapter.
