In Mark’s Gospel, Jesus’ transfiguration followed His commands for His followers to deny themselves and take up their crosses. Those that do, will also be similarly transfigured in eternity. However, this transformation begins at the very moment that a person repents of their sins, receives Jesus as Lord of their life, and begins to live according to Jesus’ teachings through the Holy Spirit’s power. Please open your Bible to Mark chapter nine, and listen as Pastor Ray Viola completes his study of verses one through eight.
